More than technique.
Thiago began his Jiu Jitsu journey in Brazil after seeing how the art could change the way a person moves, thinks, and responds under pressure. Since 1997, that lesson has guided his work as a student, competitor, coach, and mentor.
Today, he brings that experience to every class at Gracie Barra Stafford. His approach values precise technique, honest effort, discipline, and the responsibility a professor has to help every student move forward.
“The goal is not only to create better athletes. It is to help people become stronger, more confident, and more prepared for life.
